Abstract

Human beings are created in diverse ways: some are tall, some are short, some are extroverts, some are introverts, some are gifted, some are disabled etc. A human is one who has the characteristics of a living thing. Human beings should live together and learn together. Hence, counseling is the road map to successful inclusive teaching and learning. Human beings are born to help each other to function. Learners who have special needs should be taught alongside other learners to the extent the special needs learn to function normally and their self-esteem enhanced. For a successful inclusive teaching and learning, the researchers recommend that every level of education should have a counseling psychologist. Reality therapy and social learning therapy are recommended to be used by counselors.
